limitedwave:productions
came into existence in the spring of 2001. The monaker 'limitedwave' means nothing literal and was chosen quite randomly. My first organized business was called 'the synergyseven design group' but too many people didn't understand the name. So a year after it began it got rebranded.

When the business was first launched, the idea was to hook up people, companies, entities, with great web, design, and video work. But on the cheap. The market was so overpriced it wasn't too hard to undercut everyone. After a year, and after taxes etc I decided I don't live in a place that's friendly to small business owners. Its too expensive and frankly heartbreaking to just give away so much of your money. Anyhow, the business closed.

The goals and what got me started remained however, and though the crew has changed a few times over the years, our end game is still the same. But now we're older, wiser, smarter and better at everything we do. Technologies have grown and our networks have spread. We take great pride in fitting solutions with needs, even if that means we're out..

In recent years we only take on the projects we think are most worthy at the time. We don't market ourselves, and there never seems to be a shortage of inquiries for work. The reason for this is quite simple: our customer are very, very happy with their experience.

Check out the Case Studies area if you'd like to see what their experiences with us were like. And if you're here looking for someone to make that site or media component or iphone app - please drop me a line. You never know what you'll get.

 Andy Harper

Andy Harper is a multimedia designer who spends a lot of time writing piles of Actionscript for fun-loving NFL, corporate, and consumer clients. In recent months, Andy has built video centers for the Titans, 49ers and Cardinalsā€˜ NFL web sites, built an iPhone app that lets fans shake the phone to play their fight song, created and scored several video projects, etc, etc, etc. Really Harp is a dork, that's truth.

 Ryan Milby

Ryan Milby handles the visual direction of all things web and interactive for one of Nashville's oldest marketing and advertising agency's by day, and by night...well, that's where the mystery of the Milby unfolds. Or does it? Ryan most assuredly directs all visual communications and interface design for limitedwave:productions. Ryan's work wins Addy Awards every year, ask him about it and he'll tell you it matters not. He's wrong.

Ryan also handles design for print as well as illustration for all of the above.

 Jason Morgan

Jason Morgan is the master of all things production, and king of all thing Marvel by night. Jason brings vast experience in web production keeping huge sites up and rolling (ie Titans, 49ers, Cards, et al) without fail. He also oversees development of ad systems and CMS development. If that weren't enough, Jason actually went to film school so he frequently teams up with Jeffrey and I to tackle video projects. And if that still isn't enough - Jason is an accomplished pianist, which adds to the limitedwave composition mix.

Don't cross the Morg. It'd be a bad idea.

Jeffrey Rankhorn

Jeffrey brings eons of video production experience into the fold at limitedwave. He's been spending his days filming Titans practices, press conferences, making KFC commercials and the always fun corporate videos. Jeffrey's broadcast and NLE experience have been extrememly helpful over the years.

And he has a wicked Prince collection.

 James Grant

James is our backend systems wizard. James' experience is wide and varied, but these days he's our network administrator. He sets up and maintains any and all applications that we host whether PHP, ASP, JAVA, WIN, LINUX, and lately he's been serving us up these portal experiments that are blowing my mind.

And lets not forget that James is a wicked good golfer with cool t-shirts.

Kevin Atamian

Kevin comes to the wave as our resident Chief Financial Officer. Whenever our clients have needs in the finacial realm our man Kevin sets them straight. Kevin's also our primary new business guy, always with an eye out for the next deserving client.

Also worth noting is that Kevin and I were born in the same hospital,
five days apart. That guy is so old.

Brian Mikkelson

Meet my man Mikk, whom I'm glad to say is our Open Source guru. Brian has been with Red Hat for several years now, and has a very solid understanding of open source frameworks, networks and all that jazz. He also talks the sales line oh so well and I'm oh so glad to have someone else for that crap. :)

Mikk lives in a castle. Seriously, if not for his wife Heather I think it would have a dungeon.

Peter Michaels

Peter is our go-to guy for anything more complicated than I'm used to. In addition, he has a vast breadth of knowledge about Windows based and proprietary programming architectures - something I'm a bit weak on admitedly. Peter also has lots of experience integrating sites with web services and the like, a must have in today's world of hyper-connectivity
from site to site.

Peter is also a bad ass guitarist. he'll say he isn't, but he is.
